A main part of the plant pictures are closeups
showing details for positive identification. The CD has the same capabilities for search and identification
as the web site, in other words, all the scripts run from the CD itself by just inserting it, and no installation
is necessary. Major advantages of using the CD is that all the images and results from the Plant Identification
Key pop up quickly, instead of waiting for downloading, and also that it can be used in the field on a
laptop. And, of course, the CD contains over 1,300 more species than the web site.
Satisfaction is guaranteed, if you can view the web site and are using Windows 98 or higher, the CD should
run fine as well. The basic system requirements are listed below, however, if there would be a compatibility
problem, the CD can be returned within 10 days if in new condition, and a full refund except shipping/handling
will be issued promptly. The CD, as pictured above, will be shipped with first class mail in a transparent
slim-line jewel case and padded envelope. During plant growth season it may take up to about a week before
products are shipped out because of high demand and work in the field. |
